Peachtree Film Festival!

I had the pleasure recently of attending the Peachtree Film Festival here in Atlanta Georgia. It was a last minute thing that week when I noticed volunteer requests for table reads. I was fortunate enough to read for 3 separate screenwriters:

• Lionel - The Power to Choose by Toyosha Upshaw

• Dr. Thomas Hunter - Incarnations by Albert Chan

• Nando - Man Enough by Jack Dusi

This was my first time officially doing table reads for scripts I had not been cast in. I also had the opportunity for a quick meet in greet with Clifton Powell which of course was awesome. I met a writer who was looking to get into the Atlanta market, an awesome business called Truth Honey with some amazing products, a blacked owned streaming service called Jaro and more! Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely love to attend again next year, hopefully as an actor in one of the films being presented :)
